Mermaid Necklace with Coral Bead Accent

This is the second mermaid necklace that I have ever seen made by Nacho. She is holding a coral bead and the detail in her scales and face is simply stunning. This would make the perfect piece for any "ocean aficionado" who has a little imagination !

Fort Worth Zoo Ball Donation

This Horned Toad Bracelet(stamped # 1 by Nacho)was purchased by a very special and supportive fan of both Nacho Gomez (his works of art /jewelry ) AND the Fort Worth Zoo. She donated it to the silent auction benefitting the opening of the NEW Herpetarium. Fort Worth is very lucky to have such supportive patrons who help make this town the special place that it is .

La Oruga sin Mariposa

This bracelet was made for a special client in Texas . It is a bracelet that Nacho has made before but the original design had a leaf on top with a butterfly clasp. I like them both the same but for someone who doesn't want such a large bracelet (as the original design) this style is perfect! Nacho offers it with several different types of stones such as onyx, garnet, malachite, or turquoise .

360 West Magazine Article on Nacho

These photos were taken by Rachel Peters for 360 West Magazine.
The August issue is all about "what's cool " and I think these pieces fit the bill perfectly and then some ... These pieces aren't just cool but are collectible/wearable pieces of art. Meda Kessler says it best in her article on Nacho Gomez-
"But it's on a wrist or around the neck where his pieces really shine. Talk about statement jewelry. These substantial pieces (which pair nicely with thin bangles or with turquoise ) are conversation-starters " . SO TRUE !!!!

Chain Collection Part 2

These two chain styles I call the "cien pies" or centipede and "cucharas" or spoons...They look a lot heavier than they really are and feel great against the skin.

Chain Collection Part 1

These two chain styles I refer to as the Boomerang and the Greek . They look a lot thicker and heavier than they really are which means that thye are very comfortable to wear. They feel so nice on your skin- warming up to your body's temperature....

Snake Necklace with Grey Moonstone

This snake necklace is made from individually hinged "scales " or joints that give it a very flexible movement. It literally wraps around and lays beautifully as it molds to the curve of your neck. The center stone of this piece is a carved grey moonstone with details that must be seen to be believed. The eyes are made of black onyx and give the double snake heads even more dimension - Simply Exquisite !!!

Chess Set

This AMAZING chess set took Nacho two years to make. It is his interpretation of a mythological Aztec battle between two divine forces. The king is Quetzalcoatl -representing the sun and the queen is Tezcatlipoca representing the moon.

All the silver that you see is 950 and there are over 4 kilos of silver alone in this set. When not playing or displaying this chess set the pieces can be stored in the wooden box as the silver playing surface is actually a lid that opens.

Scorpion Key Chain

Nacho made this cool scorpion keychain for a friend of mine. I think that it would look cool with the keys inside the pants pocket and then the scorpion left to dangle outside of the pocket. I especially love the chain - once again - all handmade by Nacho !!!

Artistic Inspirations

I love the style of these bracelets. Nacho likes to play with the high brilliance of the reflection of the metal with light and these are real eye-catchers !This particular line of jewelry is inspired by geometric shapes and there will be many more pieces to come in the future .The bracelet with stones shown here is full of a fantastic hue of garnet stones. All three pieces are very elegant , timeless and just have a classic design !

Horned Lizard-Toad-Frog Bracelet

TCU fans beware - This might be the coolest thing a true TCU fan could own...
Nacho and I designed this especially to share with fans like you !
This piece was fabricated in @36 hours after a careful study of pages of photos that had been researched about this elusive creature. Nacho got really excited about the project and missed a full nights sleep while working on it...just another example of how Nacho puts his heart and soul into every last handmade detail.

Here is some wikepedia info I found about this interesting creature :
Horned lizards are a genus of the Phrynosomatidae family of lizards. The horned lizard is popularly called a "horned toad," "horny toad", or "horned frog," but it is neither a toad nor a frog. The popular names come from the lizard's rounded body and blunt snout, which make it resemble a toad or frog. (Phrynosoma literally means "toad-bodied.") The spines on its back and sides are made from modified scales, whereas the horns on the heads are true horns (i.e. they have a horny core). There are 14 species of horned lizards in North America, 8 of which are native to the United States. The largest-bodied and most widely distributed of the U.S. species is the Texas horned lizard .

Crocodile Bracelet and Necklace

The crocodile necklace and bracelet look good with just about any outfit and for just about any occasion. They could be worn with your jeans for a daytime adventure -or even dressed up for a special occasion in the evening . Your choice - Timeless and Classic !

Armadillo Bracelet

Aaaaaah the armadillo bracelet- Absolutely adorable! This little guy is just full of personality and people are amazed when they see how he opens and closes. The end of his tail goes into his mouth for the clasp and he has beautiful garnet eyes!
His tail is a series of hinged joints so he is very flexible and I'm crazy about the way he wraps around the wrist. I won't name names but one of our local news anchors fell in love with him the minute she saw him and bought one for herself as well as another for a friend! Very popular this little armadillo!

Chameleon Bracelet and Necklace

The chameleon is probably one of my favorites of Nacho's pieces- although I must say it is very hard to choose. He has a swirled tongue, malachite eyes and a curled tail. He has a small "mohawk" -much smaller than that of the iguana but it makes him somewhat "fierce" as well. I sold the first one right off of my wrist and missed him terribly until Nacho was able to replace him for me ! I wonder who the next lucky soul will be to wear this little critter on their wrist or neck and suffer from endless compliments !

Mermaid Necklace

This mermaid or "Sirena" as she is known in Spanish appears to be swimming around your neck when you place her there .
She is just another example of Nacho's attention to detail and his finesse with repousse tools. Each scale in her fins and the hair cascading down her back are hammered individually lending her that "one-of-a kind" look that really stands out in this world of commercially made products .

Iguana Bracelet and Necklace

I personally think that the Iguana is the most "punk rock" of all of Nacho's pieces. He has malachite eyes and a metal "mohawk" running up his back. I especially like the detail in his cheeks - very realistic !

Caterpillar with Butterfly Clasp Bracelet

The Spanish translation for caterpillar is oruga. Nacho has designed this "oruga" to crawl onto a leaf and morph into a butterfly for the clasp !
This amazingly flexible bracelet has 17 moveable joints and looks and feels like a true one of a kind work of art. Each joint has 2 mounted malachite stones but ends with two onyx stones near the end of the caterpillar. This makes for a total count of 36 stones ! Gorgeous !
